Detective Annette Mollison returns in a new Australian crime mystery set primarily in Far North Queensland in 1987.

When discoveries on Cape York revive questions about events a decade earlier, Annette finds herself following a trail of missing people, buried secrets and dangerous connections.

A new series begins

Annette first appeared in The Long Grass, a standalone novel set in Weipa in 1985. I hadn’t intended to write a series, but I grew fond of her and wanted to discover where her next investigation might lead.

This novel begins her own continuing series. You don’t need to have read The Long Grass first.

The final title, cover and publication date are still to come. Further Annette Mollison novels are planned.
