The Long Grass was written as a standalone novel. Detective Annette Mollison first appeared in its pages, but the story was never intended to launch a series. After finishing it, I found I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to Annette. Her own series begins with my next novel.

This is where readers first meet Detective Annette Mollison, though the novel tells a complete story of its own.
The Annette Mollison series
Annette’s story continues in a new series of crime mysteries. Each investigation has its own story, with Annette at its centre. You can begin with the new series without having read The Long Grass.
